CrossPointe Jupiter – Next Phase (July / August 2020)

Brian Sullivan   -

CrossPointe Family,

I wanted to give an update as we look ahead to the next phase of CrossPointe. As I’ve said all along, although our circumstances have changed, the call of the church is still the same…Jesus said to “Go and make disciples”. Our vision seeks to capture how we are seeking to accomplish this call:

At CrossPointe, we are seeking to make disciples by pointing our community to Jesus so people may Know God, Find Freedom, Experience Belonging, and Live Generously

Below are the avenues that we are providing to help people encounter and live in relationship with God by growing in these 4 areas. We are seeking to provide both in person and on-line avenues for people depending on what you are able to engage in personally. Also, I have included what we are looking forward to in the next phase after we get these established.

Know God: Sunday Gathering

July – August:  In-Person Gathering + On-Line

Next Phase: Incorporate CPKids into Sunday Gathering (teaching during sermon)

Find Freedom: Personal Development

July – August: Find Your Way Sermon Series Study + Daily Encouragements (cpjupiter.com/blog)

Next Phase: Add Personal Pathways & Practices Plan. We have resources to identify avenues help you develop a personal plan to experience God.

Experience Belonging: Beach Meet-Up Community Group (Thursday)

July – August: 6:00-7:00: dinner + discussion on sermon series (beginning Thursday July 23rd)

Next Phase: Add On-line Zoom group

Live Generously: A life that flows out of 3 other values

July – August: Meet needs as they arise in our community

Next Phase: Continued development of partnerships with New Song Church & Compassion International

What we are asking of you. The church is called to “equip the saints for the work of ministry” (Ephesians 4:12) which is why we are seeking to provide the above avenues. As Christians, we have a responsibility and role to play in following Jesus too. Philippians 2:12 reminds us to “Work out YOUR own salvation…” and Colossians 3:16 says to “Let the word of Christ dwell in YOU richly”. While there is a communal role in both of these, there is also a personal call. We would encourage you to:

  • Engage in the Sunday Gathering (either in person or on-line)
  • Engage with God’s word through sermon series study and daily encouragements (a digital copy is available)
  • Engage relationally with beach meet-up or on-line zoom group
  • Engage through communicating any needs you have or are aware of

We are expectant and look forward to God’s continued work in and through CrossPointe.

Please let us know any questions or thoughts.
