Beach Meet-Up / Community Group – 8/6/20 (Thursday)

Brian Sullivan   -

The first couple weeks of our beach meet-up/community group have gone great – it is a safe environment where we can not only get some of the in-person relational connection we need, but also the encouragement of God’s word that we need. If you are healthy and not high risk, would highly encourage you to come.

Would love to have you join us this week – here are the details and questions we will discuss:

  • Thursday July 30th – 6:00-7:00pm (dinner + discussion)
  • Carlin Park – 400 Florida A1A, Jupiter, FL 33477  (picnic tables behind Lazy Loggerheard Cafe)
  • Bring your own dinner if you would like to eat
  • Also, you are welcome to bring a chair and stick around for as long as you like to hang out on the beach

We will discuss anything that we beneficial from the sermon plus a few questions adapted from the “Find Your Way” community group study (you can work through on your own).

Discussion – Family & Marriage

Discussion around blog post on marriage (see cpjupiter.com/blog)

What was positive and encouraging about your family growing up? What was hard and painful?

How does being a part of God’s family, the church, bring purpose to all involved (not just those who are married/have children)?

Read Proverbs 31:10–31. What do we learn about a godly woman and her strength? How are husbands to cultivate that (31:28), and what are husbands called to?

How does our view of Christ shape our view of (how we treat, praise, adore) our spouse?
