“The blessing of the LORD makes rich, and he adds no sorrow with it.” – Proverbs 10:22

Money becomes destructive -Proverbs shows misuse leads to control, conflict, confusion & corruption

Control – The people curse him who holds back grain – Proverbs 11:26

Conflict – A greedy man stirs up strife, but the one who trusts in the LORD will be enriched – Proverbs 28:25

Confusion -The wicked earns deceptive wages, but one who sows righteous. gets a sure reward – Proverbs 11:18

Corruption – Unequal weights are an abomination to the Lord, and false scales are not good – Proverbs 20:23

“For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, so that you by his poverty might become rich.” – 2 Corinthians 8:9

“Enduring wealth” is received through: 

Honoring God with your firstfruits –  Honor the LORD with your wealth and with the firstfruits of all your produce; then your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will be bursting with wine. -Proverbs 3:9-10

Living Generously  – One gives freely, yet grows all the richer; another withholds what he should give, and only suffers want. – Proverbs 11:24

Hard Work  – A slack hand causes poverty, but the hand of the diligent makes rich – Proverbs 10:4

Being Content (& not indulgent) – Pr 21:17 – Whoever loves pleasure will be a poor man; he who loves wine and oil will not be rich. – Proverbs 21:17

Patience – Wealth gained hastily will dwindle, but whoever gathers little by little will increase it – Proverbs 13:11

Working to Provide for a household –  Prepare your work outside; get everything ready for yourself in the field, and after that build your house – Proverbs 24:27

They are to do good, to be rich in good works, to be generous and ready to share, thus storing up treasure for themselves as a good foundation for the future, so that they may take hold of that which is truly life.” – 1 Timothy 6:17-19
