Preparing for Worship_9/22/24
This portion of 1 Samuel has us in David’s “Wilderness Years”. Being in the “wilderness” (literal or metaphorically) forces us to ask questions like “where do I go” which we saw last week with God’s Guidance. It also forces us to ask “why am I here” “what good is this” and even “God, what are you doing?”. This week we will look at “God’s Work in the Wilderness” from 1 Samuel 24. We will see it as a time of testing and transforming. Take some time to prepare your heart and mind by reading the passage and listening to the songs we will sing. Look forward to seeing you Sunday!
